Description
Orphan Jane Eyre has an unhappy childhood at her cruel aunt’s house, until she is sent to a charity school, where she receives a good education. At the age of 18, she becomes a governess to eight-year-old Adèle, whose guardian is the strange Mr Rochester. A relationship develops between the shy, reserved Jane and her unpredictable employer. But strange things happen in the house. There is an unexplained fire in a bedroom and strange laughter at night. Mr Rochester is hiding a dark secret and this might be an obstacle to Jane’s future happiness.
