Description

Maggie, an Inuit girl, and the people of her village are in trouble. There isn’t enough work in the village and people haven’t got money for food. The villagers are caribou hunters, but the caribou are disappearing because of the changing weather. Now, there isn’t any meat in the village. Going to school hungry is bad enough, but then one day, Maggie comes home from school to find her father and brother gone. Where are they and what must Maggie do now? One thing is certain – Maggie is not going to stay home alone just because she is a girl!
