Description

One morning in 1466, an ugly deformed child is abandoned at the entrance to Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Claude Frollo, a young priest, takes pity on him and adopts him. Frollo names the child Quasimodo. The child later becomes the bell-ringer of the cathedral. Humiliated and rejected by society, Quasimodo lives a solitary life in the cathedral for 16 years. Frollo is obsessed with a beautiful gypsy dancer, Esmeralda.
Quasimodo, faithful and loyal, is devoted to her too and will do everything he can to protect her. But, will he be able to oppose his powerful benefactor?
