Description

John Trenchard, 17, discovers a secret chamber underneath a gravestone in the local cemetery. This discovery changes his life and brings him into the secret world of the local smugglers. But when he hears the legend of a cursed diamond, he is determined to find it. His friends warn him that the diamond will bring him bad luck, but John refuses to listen. After cracking a secret code, he embarks on a difficult, dangerous journey from Moonfleet village to Holland. He and his loved ones suffer greatly along the way. Is the diamond worth it?
