Description
When Mary Lennox’s parents die of cholera in India, the young girl has to go and live with her strange uncle, Archibald Craven, in his big cold house in England. Mary is sad and lonely until she meets Dickon, a servant’s son, in the garden. Together, they discover an abandoned secret garden and decide to make it beautiful again. At night, Mary hears a child crying and discovers she has a cousin her own age, called Colin. He is sad because he has got an illness and stays in bed all day. Mary and Dickon want to help Colin get better. They believe the magic of their secret garden will be the answer, but … how can they convince him and his father of that?
